When Scarlett was born in 2017 she weighed just 680 grams. She joined us in February 2024 at the Sandra Schmirler Foundation Donor Tribute Evening at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts where her mother Katie told the incredible story of Scarlett’s journey inside the Foothills Medical Centre NICU.

Your generosity helped us present $70,000 in funding for the Foothills NICU for the purchase of a Criticool Unit and a transcutaneous CO2 monitor to help more babies like Scarlett.
