Grant Applications
The Sandra Schmirler Foundation provides grants directly to hospital foundations in Canada for the purchase of life-saving equipment for Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs).
Grants are limited to the purchase of life-saving equipment for NICUs and cannot be used for capital campaigns.
Hospital foundations are encouraged to submit proposals for pieces of equipment at a variety of price points.
The Sandra Schmirler Foundation believes it is important to acquaint the public with its grant-making activities. By submitting a grant, hospital foundations agree to the following: a media release announcing the grant, a public announcement with a cheque presentation, recognition fitting with the amount of the grant and promotion of the annual Sandra Schmirler Telethon in its publications and social media.
Use the form below to submit your proposal. Proposals for grants will no longer be accepted by email. Deadline for applications was February 1, 2024. All funding decisions will be made by June of 2024.
